Accessibility can inspire us

Accessibility wins trust

Just as a physical ramp allows everyone to enter a store, a website with good color contrast, clear heading hierarchy, and support for screen readers lets all visitors access your content. By making it easier to navigate and understand, your site can feel more welcoming, making visitors confident in your service. I can help build that digital “ramp” and work with you toward a more accessible website.

Launch and nurtur

Laws and guidelines change over time, which means the definition of great accessibility changes too. There is no single solution that fits everyone or is guaranteed to last. While I won’t lie by promising complete accessibility compliance, I can help move your website closer to a safer and more inclusive standard.

Care plan

A professional website isn’t a one-time purchase, it’s a living service. Some providers advertise a single “set price,” but that figure often leaves out the ongoing expenses that keep a site secure and running smoothly.

Full freedom

Even though I offer website maintenance, you’re never locked out. You’ll always have an admin account, giving you the freedom to post text, add images, and make general updates if you want. You can continue working with me for support, or take full control once the contract is complete, it’s entirely up to you.

An active partnership

I would never serve my clients templates with a dash of color and some sprinkles. Every site I create is carefully built and designed to match the people it’s meant for. I work closely with my clients, combining their input with my design experience to create a site that works for both their business and its users.

Ongoing maintenance

A person might buy a car, but most don’t have the time to maintain it or handle repairs when something breaks. The same goes for websites: they need updates, changes, and performance checks, but you already have enough on your plate. I offer ongoing maintenance for the websites I build, at a reasonable price.

H1 Best Practices

Each page on this site uses just one H1 (Heading 1). This main headline tells Google and Bing what the page is about. If a page has more than one, those search engines can’t tell which topic is most important, which hurts visibility in search results.

Mobile-friendly

This website is fully responsive, adjusting smoothly to phones, tablets, and desktops. Google uses mobile-first indexing, so a site that works well on every screen helps with ranking higher while also keeping visitors happy, no matter the device.

Fast and Friendly Loading

This site uses optimized images, clean code and great hosting to lower loading times, which Google rewards and visitors appreciate. Nobody likes waiting for a slow site to load.

Accessible text

The body text on this site is at least 14px by default and can be scaled higher by the user. It uses a clean, sans-serif font optimized for screen reading, and the contrast ratio between text and background is designed to meet or exceed 4.5:1 for good readability across devices.

Comfortable Reading

Paragraphs are kept at a readable width so users can scan text without strain. Most content is left-aligned, like in books, helping readers easily follow each line. The body text is slightly muted compared to the headings, an intentional choice that creates clear visual hierarchy and makes the page easier to read.

Keyboard-Friendly Navigation

This website aims for a clear hierarchical heading structure, proper HTML tagging, and smooth keyboard navigation. Support for screen readers is also considered, making it easier for users who rely on assistive technologies to access content. While full compatibility with every tool cannot be guaranteed, the goal is to make this site as usable as possible for all visitors.
